Here's a funny. Titled : Ready to find Jesus? A drunk stumbles along a baptismal service on Sunday afternoon down by the river. He proceeds to walk down into the water and stand next to the Preacher. The Preacher turns and notices the old drunk and says, "Mister, Are you ready to find Jesus?" The drunk looks back and says, "Yes, Preacher.. I sure am." The preacher then dunks the fellow under the water and pulls him right back up. "Have you found Jesus? The preacher asked. "Nooo, I didn't" said the drunk. The preacher then dunks him under for quite a bit longer, brings him back up and says, " Now, Brother, have you found Jesus?" "Nooooo, I did not Reverend. " The preacher in disgust holds the man under for at least 30 seconds this time, brings him back out of the water and says in a harsh tone, "My good man, have you found Jesus?" The ole drunk wipes his eyes and says to the preacher....... "Are you sure this is where he fell in?" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Cindy - Tim Rasnick Wanted to give an update on Evan: All of his labs were not in. The results the team had were good. We should receive a call today to see if he will need another infusion. His team told us today, if he stays on the track he is on (he will in Jesus name) he would be going home the week of June the 12th. He will have an appointment on June 12th in clinic so we would look at going home a couple days after. We would be coming back to Memphis every two weeks for a month and then we would be traveling back here once a month for a year and so forth......... There are so many emotions going on right now in my mind. I want to type out so much and say so much. For now, I will say, that a miracle is walking out of this hospital and the miracle has been by the grace of ALMIGHTY GOD!!! What a testimony we have! It will be given for the glory of God. We are nothing. He is everything. Evan will not be able to go to school for at least the first semester, he will not be able to be in crowds of any kind, he will mainly be inside and in very small settings due to his immune system. I asked how long it may take his immune system to be where they want it and they said it could possibly take up to year. Of course, every one is different. Please understand when he comes home he would love to have all kinds of company but it is just not possible for now. He will get there and Im believing it will not take a year! We will keep you updated as we know more. Please keep him in your prayers, he still has a road to travel, but with God leading the way we know it will work out for his glory! Update on Evan: Evan will be having an outside cardiologist appointment in May, in addition he will also be having his 100 day post transplant MRD. We know that Evan has some kidney damage due to chemotherapy, but at this point we don't know the severity. The doctors told us that "time will tell". HIs labs looked great this week. Will don't have his chimerism check in as of yet. Our prayers for him are: Praying the cardiologist appt shows no damage to heart. Praying he can get taken off some, if not all heart medications. Praying for a negative MRD. Praying always for 100 Nathan cells. Praying for all of the kids here and their families. Some we know by name and others we don't. God does. Please keep remembering Tommy and Deborah Kinser. Please keep praying for Betty Fannon and Charlie. Thank you friends for walking, praying, crying, and sharing this journey with our family. You will never be forgotten. Above all, God knows each of you by name.
Cindy - Tim Rasnick Wanted to give an update on Evan (we didn't have appts yesterday). His bone marrow aspirate was negative! Praise God! His labs looked great today. His kidney level was greatly improved. Evan is considered "high risk" due to way many factors to list. Because of this, he had a bone marrow aspirate on day 30, 60 and must have another one at day 100. He is also having Occupational Therapy due to the loss of strength in his hand. Evan will have another aspirate in May. When you look at Evan, you are truly looking at a miracle. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue this journey. We love and appreciate each of our friends. May God always get the glory.
Cindy - Tim Rasnick Another late update..... We have been trying to get caught up on our sleep when we can. Evans bone marrow aspirate results were NEGATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God. His fellow hugged me when she gave me the results. Most people waiting on these results would be anxious etc.......... Evan asked for a pillow and blanket. Went to sleep. I had to wake him to tell him his results. His fellow done his exam today while he slept. He is now on fluids 24 hours per day. His weight is dropping more. The fellow today increased his appetite meds and increased the amount of Ensure they want him to take in. He is still very weak from the transplant. All of this is normal post transplant. Please keep praying as we continue this journey. Please keep Hannah, Ryder, Kaelynn and Adrian in your prayers. Gods Got this for us and whatever you may be facing today. We will be together as a family this weekend!!!!!!!! Thank you for loving us.
Cindy - Tim Rasnick Posted Hello prayer warriors and friends. Evan's breathing is continuing to improve however, his kidneys are "not happy". The specialist told us today, they will begin a series of labs to look at his function in more detail. This will tell them if Evan will regain total kidney function. Now.......yall know my take on it. HE WILL regain his complete kidney function and HE WILL share how God healed his body. I have faith and I speak to every negative comment that is thrown our way. We respect their medical advice and God provides medicine and research for times such as these BUT he has the say so. Our specific request are: Kidneys function perfectly. Keep seeing improvement in breathing. Protection over every organ and his entire body. Transplant works. Prayers for Nathan and Olivia as they are away from us. Above all, Gods glory keeps shining thru as we are mere vessels that are thankful unto him for using us. Gods got this. Faith over fear. Always something to be thankful for. God has final say. Please remember all of the kids here and their families. Only God know what we face each day. Thank you for loving us! We see your request and pray for you as well. When one hurts we all hurt in the body of Christ.
